This is place to go if you need any transmission work done. I won't go into all the details. They will work with you, even try to help get you a loan if you don't have the money. I would recommend this place to anybody.

For my ~100k-mile vehicle, I needed transmission service, among a lot of other maintenance work. When researching transmission specialists near downtown Roanoke, I liked not only AAMCO Roanoke's good location for me and the solid customer reviews on Google, but also their capability of performing complete auto care. Instead of having to go to multiple shops, I was able to take care of my transmission, engine, brake, and tire servicing all at AAMCO Roanoke during a single appointment. My vehicle feels and performs different after their servicing - I can notice the improvement in the ride, and I feel much better and secure about heading into the winter season ahead. My thanks to the AAMCO Roanoke team, particularly Carter in Customer Service, who proactively kept in contact with me and always explained things clearly, professionally, and most importantly, honestly.
